Answers for cricket clubs using ClubStats

Yes. ClubStats supports a layered Play Cricket import path: standard CSV uploads, team-mapped CSV imports when multiple sides share a grade, optional direct fetch from Play Cricket where enabled, and match imports for scorecard context.

Where the automated stats import feature is enabled, ClubStats can fetch a side's season stats from Play Cricket and pass them through the same validation, player-matching, review, and import steps as a CSV upload.

The import is designed to be staged. Clubs set up the season and grades, choose the right import path, then ClubStats validates the data, maps players and teams, and provides a review step before anything is loaded. Simple grade uploads stay quick, while shared-grade teams, automated fetches, and match imports cover more complex club setups.

CSV and Excel are fully supported. PDF, yearbook, MyCricket-era, and other legacy sources can be reviewed as part of a historical migration assessment.

No. Clubs can import grade by grade, start with their main teams, or build history progressively over time.

Clubs retain ownership of the data they provide or authorise for import. ClubStats processes that data to deliver the club portal, statistics, records, and admin workflows.

Where enabled, Player Analysis gives clubs a quick view of a player's batting, bowling, fielding, and role profile using the club record already held in ClubStats.

Team selection and availability tools are available as experimental tenant features. They help clubs build grade squads, mark player availability, prepare selected teams, and compare players during selection.

Club Room Mode brings a club's statistics and history to life on a branded, rotating television display. It keeps leaderboards, grade statistics, Hall of Fame and Legends records, milestones and life members visible to the whole club during selection, presentation nights, match days or an ordinary drink in the clubroom. No. Once configured, the television uses a dedicated view-only display link. Clubs can switch the link off, regenerate it and optionally require a six-digit PIN without exposing tenant admin access.

Experimental features can be enabled by ClubStats and then toggled per tenant where available. Clubs can provide feedback through Tenant Admin as features evolve.
