Answers for cricket clubs using ClubStats

A practical reference for clubs comparing ClubStats, preparing data imports, choosing a plan, or getting ready to publish cricket records, player statistics and club history online.
Data and Imports
Yes. ClubStats supports a layered Play Cricket import path: standard CSV uploads, team-mapped CSV imports when multiple sides share a grade, optional direct fetch from Play Cricket where enabled, and match imports for scorecard context.
Where the automated stats import feature is enabled, ClubStats can fetch a side's season stats from Play Cricket and pass them through the same validation, player-matching, review, and import steps as a CSV upload.
The import is designed to be staged. Clubs set up the season and grades, choose the right import path, then ClubStats validates the data, maps players and teams, and provides a review step before anything is loaded. Simple grade uploads stay quick, while shared-grade teams, automated fetches, and match imports cover more complex club setups.
CSV and Excel are fully supported. PDF, yearbook, MyCricket-era, and other legacy sources can be reviewed as part of a historical migration assessment.
No. Clubs can import grade by grade, start with their main teams, or build history progressively over time.
Clubs retain ownership of the data they provide or authorise for import. ClubStats processes that data to deliver the club portal, statistics, records, and admin workflows.
No. Imports are initiated by the club or completed as part of an agreed onboarding or historical migration process.
Domains and Access
Each club gets a clean public subdomain such as smcc.clubstats.cricket. The subdomain can be shared with players, parents, sponsors, and supporters.
Yes. A club's public ClubStats portal can be added to an iPhone Home Screen from Safari. It opens like an app for quick access to the club dashboard, player search, leaderboards, honour boards and season records, while tenant admin stays separate.
Each tenant has its own admin area for club administrators. Platform-level controls remain separate from tenant admin access.
Features
A club gets a public ClubStats portal with player profiles, leaderboards, season performers, honour boards, comparison tools, and indexable club history pages where enabled.
Yes. ClubStats includes player comparison views so clubs can compare batting, bowling, fielding, and overall performance across selected scopes.
Where enabled, Player Analysis gives clubs a quick view of a player's batting, bowling, fielding, and role profile using the club record already held in ClubStats.
Team selection and availability tools are available as experimental tenant features. They help clubs build grade squads, mark player availability, prepare selected teams, and compare players during selection.
Experimental features can be enabled by ClubStats and then toggled per tenant where available. Clubs can provide feedback through Tenant Admin as features evolve.
Getting Started
ClubStats is a cricket club statistics and history platform for community clubs. It helps clubs preserve historical records, publish player profiles, track milestones, maintain leaderboards, and keep honour boards online.
ClubStats is built for cricket clubs that want their records, milestones, player statistics, and club history in one place. It suits junior-only clubs, senior clubs, and larger multi-grade clubs.
A platform admin reviews the request, provisions your club database and subdomain, creates the first admin account, and sends the login details once setup is complete.
Yes. A club can launch with current season data first, then add historical records later when the club is ready.
Partners
